You had one yesterday, Nikotemo, Scott, Atoni, Vagana, Griffin and the young half who's name escaped me out long term, everyone else has niggles.

although that's true it wasn't very specific - basically specified that they wouldn't be playing (atoni vagana) but not when they would be, no mention of russel is he injured ? like most people very interested to know who will be available for that first game



in the case of nikotemo a fractured thumb could be anything from playing with it strapped up to out for a couple months

Probably easier to tell us when Russell isn't injured. Just take it as given till then.

Although its good to know what is happening to players with regards to injuries, the coaching staff have lots to consider and they certainly wont want to give any help to our upcoming opposition and to keep them guessing.

So, it's fair enough if players are going to be out for a while but, not if they're on the brink of playing.

Depends which bone in his thumb Nikotemo has broken, if its his scaphoid then its a slow process 8 plus weeks. Any other bone, depending on the nature of the break should be quicker to heal.

Cam Scott`s injury at Hull was a lower leg muscle tear I think, so I suppose on the bright side a Hamstring is not a reoccurrence of an old injury. Depends on the Grade of tear, with Powell suggesting 8 weeks then it will be a Grade B.

Would be interesting to know what injury Atoni and Vagana are recovering from, Atoni has been very durable Vagana much less so.

Atoni has had a calf issue for a while and although he went on the warm weather training week he didn't take part

We certainly don’t want any more injuries especially to forwards!

If we did suffer another long term injury I could see us looking for a recruit of some description, maybe a loan

For now we will use our squad but if we lose another forward we may need to find a loaner, I'll bet Mills will be making a few polite enquiries next week just in case.Sam Eseh, it seems, is being offered around for a loan by Wigan, who want him to get some game time, would we be interested ?

Doyle survived the game on Saturday despite having just recovered from injury but hopes of easing him back gradually have now evaporated with Hood's injury. If Lino picks up a ban that takes Russell out of back up hooker duties so young Harvey Smith may be thrust in earlier than planned. A baptism of fire for him but I have no doubt he will be up to it.
