Fax guaranteed 4 I reckon they have a hard run, Toulouse us and Fev, if anyone drops off I reckon it’s them

Leigh nailed on for 10 points. They will leapfrog us!

Us I see 6 points guaranteed, 8 if we take fax at home.



Fev having lost Briscoe could hurt them, our game up there is a 4 pointer as is the fax game at home.

I really really hope it does not come down to us having to win at Barrow to secure 4th but I can see it going that way.

It’s going to be a pretty tense run in, so will see how the older heads in the squad guide the rest in the pressure games.

Honest view from me, I think we will miss out on 4th spot and end up 5th, hope am wrong

I see that Halifax Supporters Group are running a couple of free coaches down to Trailfinders, to bolster their support.

Brisco will play against us, assuming he's fit.

At least when they go home pointless they won't be able to moan they've had to pay for their travel down to that London!

I think, for what it’s worth - win Swinton, Batley and Barrow (Swinton certain, other two we need to be disciplined) - 6points, then Halifax at Home is a must, 8 points. Ideally, win one or Toulouse or Fev 10 points.



10 will be a certain top 4, 8 should be enough, 6 not enough - tense times..............

Brian, same 6 points for me, agree Halifax at home we need to win. Said it before, can’t see us getting near Toulouse out there, although got my tickets and looking forward to it.

Fev we have never really coped with the slope that’s gonna be a tough one.

Briscoe is in the Fev squad for this weekend, and so is Ormondroyd from Leeds.



Some dodgy dealing going on there between Leeds and Fev, in terms of player registration rules. I wouldn't trust Hetherington with tuppence.

You are right, I apologise, I see he is at Leeds on loan under dual registration, Leeds have a game that fri so I suppose it depends on leeds injury status and who gets first dibs on him! Hopefully leeds

If the rules can be "bent" then I for one have no problem with Leeds....it's more the RFL/SL chairmen that need to address it.

10 points will see us 4th.....of the three most likely to be a loss, Toulouse....Fev and Fax are must wins.

If we cant beat Fax at home and pick a win up against local rivals TO/Fev then we don't deserve to be in the top 4

Agreed if we can’t get the wins while it would be out of our hands would we deserve to be there. At present unless we really click it doesn’t look that likely.



And hypothetically if we did scrape into fourth and assuming SL positions and top 3 in Chump (were as of 1/07 am) you’d have home games against Leeeds, Toronto, Salford and away games against Hudds, Toulouse, KR and Fev.



Finishing 3rd is more interesting Fev would play home to Hudds, KR and whoever is fourth and away to Leeds, Salford, Toronto and Toulouse.



Scraping into fourth in the Chump might be the better route!

The recalled Channing having a mare by all accounts and Cunningham off early.

Toulouse, Featherstone and Halifax all winning comfortably at half time.

So next week, Fev or fax will lose, my money is on Fev taking the points, still can’t see us winning in France, Leigh will win so that will leave the table as it is now.



That home game against fax is going to be interesting, need to win it well to give the boys confidence before Fev.

Half time drawing 12 all, playing uphill and into the sun and having two tries disallowed.

This was not too bad. We scored in two minutes after kick off, playing down hill.

People under estimate the effect the slope has at Batley.

So 6 points left get all 6 we finish 3rd! Fax at home win, they then have a win in last game and they then have to bear Toulouse

Feb def get 2 from 6 then could all depend on how Toronto approach the game, will they want to have 100% home record or could the rest players with a view on the 8s I suspect maybe the latter.

Agree, I think we must aim for all 6 points, though Fev away will be difficult, though surprised Fax beat them.

So assuming we make the 4. Getting promoted is a simple formulae, beat the other 3 championship teams and one of the SL bottom 4! We have shown we can compete with Toulouse, Toronto yep we have beaten em once, could we take them again I wonder? Widnes taught us a lesson last year, I wonder if we could compete with them this year.

We beat fax, they then travel to TO, the last game they should win, so 2 def points that’s them on 31 points.

Leigh will finish on 32

Fev have 2 def points puts em on 30

We should have 2 def at Barrow 29 points

So we beat fax that’s us on 31 we beat fax and Fev 33. Fev beat us we are on 31 Fev on 32.

That’s all assuming Barrow don’t tip the apple cart.

We need at least 4 from 6 and other results to go our way. 6 from 6 we are 3rd

Think it will be London to beat Fax. Fax to then beat Toulouse. Leigh and Fev to miss out on top 4 at the end of season. Hope I'm wrong.
