I've come across some 5 inch old reel recordings with the commentary from wembley by Ron Marlor and a couple of interviews with Peter Smethurst. My old machines sound is poor and I can only just hear the recordings.
Does anybody know where I can get the 4 reels I have transferred to CD.
Try the Central Library in Manchester or the university on Adelphi St. They will be able to point you in the right direction. The university specialises in sound and sound reproduction.
