| So I thought I would create a separate thread away from the other Vegas one (which is more generic), for the supporters on here that are travelling over for the match of which I'm included, or maybe those have past experience in travelling to Vegas over the years and can offer advice as well. There will be Wigan fans that have varying levels of budgets too (which will no doubt come as a shock to some).
Things like:
Where fans are staying?
How long going for?
Meet up points (heard Fremont Street on Thurs Evening will be good)?
Best way to get to Airport and back?
How to get to Stadium and back, is it walkable?
Anyone going on day trips out or shows in the evening?
Is there any pie shops? Ha.
Local scams to be aware of?
Things like that. It would be nice if we could look after each others backs out there and if there's a deal/bargain or if there's something going on then get the word out if possible.
Cheers.

| Gutted I won’t be there but I do tend to go to Vegas/LA every summer to see family over there. Very jealous of there being an added dimension of Rugby League being there for the week too, I’m sure everyone will have a good time.
Only a few minor tips without knowing anyone’s specific situations:
1. Get a monorail ticket to save your legs and Uber fares so you can hop between the casinos and locations.
2. Get used to tipping, it’ll eat away at your budget quickly if you’re doing a lot.
3. Fill your boots at Las Vegas North Premium Outlets (Download the Simon app for vouchers/‘coupons’) I prefer because it’s more outside and better shops for me personally; there is a South one too.
4. Food wise I enjoy places like;
- Hot n Juicy Crawfish (shrimp, crab, lobster - get your gloves and a bib on and crack everything open with your tools);
- Lawry’s Prime Rib if you fancy a roast beef dinner);
- anything in Eataly at Park MGM;
- Secret Pizza in Cosmopolitan; Grimaldi’s pizza in the Venetian;
- In n Out burger - my staple burger over that side of the US!
- Top Round - Roast Beef sandwiches.
Not an exhaustive list but can try and help with any specifics. Hope everyone has a good time and we put a performance in for the occasion.

| As a veteran of the '89 Milwaukee trip I cannot stress enough, as DannyT has pointed out, the importance of tipping. We didn't appreciate this when we went and our waitress went from really friendly to hostile when we didn't leave a tip.

| Make sure you take plenty dosh Vegas is expensive. I remember the good old days of the dollar steak and free beer when gambling in the hotels, sadly long gone.

| If you have time then go to see the Grand Canyon - truly the most jaw-dropping site you will ever see.
If you have plenty of time, then self-drive to the South Rim and stay overnight in Grand Canyon Village.
