The silence is deafening, the only positive news out of the club recently has been Tangata's extension and Kyle Eastmond's appointment. There is clearly some things happening in the background with players moving on. But who knows exactly what? Selling out the early bird season tickets isn't a huge cause for celebration given I think they were capped at 200 (someone may correct me) so not a huge number of tickets shifted.

"To put this into perspective and in very sobering terms, the income from sales to date does not cover the contractual commitment made to one of our higher-earning players, let alone an entire playing squad."[/i

Yes I saw it and a SL club could have easily out bid us for his services, that was the surprise on their part but looks like he’s happy part time at Fax or there could be a release clause and Fax are covering all the bases, good to see pen on paper in any case.
