I liked Sharp and was sad to see him leave before the end of his contract but he had his fair share of flaws as a coach IMO.

Two for me...



1. Recruitment was up and down.

2. Didn't seem very flexible with game plans when injury struck.



I reckon he'd do an excellent job with a stable side with only the normal number of disruptions through injury. The situation he found himself in here unfortunately highlighted his weaknesses and played against his strengths. That said, his record for us is actually pretty creditable given the circumstances.

His record was outstanding compared to Agars (win ratio)...however strangely he was not given 2 years with the CE claiming it was not his team





Sharp is definitely his own man with his own voice and views not always welcomed at our club

I agree circumstances went against him here.

he dint do well at manly either dispite having a good team sent them backwards untill des hasler took over and had to transform the whole team and the rest is history. id be very suprised to see saints appoint him

Saints could do a lot worse than appoint Sharp. Indeed, there aren't many available who would be better.

Steady, he will write an essay next blaming Kosh for not controlling the board and the insults etc...I have come to the conclusion it is not worth trying to integrate him as he writes dramatic posts about how he is singled out etc, yet he believes he can insult others

I dont know if I dare or if you will take it the wrong way. BB was making a comment in jest about how rumours usually have a wink attached and they have multiple meanings (see Hutchie for more details) but generally it means the rumour is complete bollox.

emoticon is generally used to indicate that a comment is tongue-in-cheek or that the poster knows more than he is letting on. In the context of the post in question I would say the latter.
