High humidity is more of a problem, doesn't allow the body to cool down so easily. Dry/high temperature isn't fantastic either as the sweat evaporates quickly. So long as they keep on top of re-hydration and managing/adjusting electrolyte levels more so than normal English weather conditions which I'm sure the club do (one hopes) there shouldn't be a problem.



Having watched the Wigan video earlier this week of them doing Yoga in a high heat environment I do wonder how much more we could be doing, personally I think it was a great idea. It's something I can't understand why more sports don't do it at the top level, it's the attention to detail & looking at every avenue to make the players not only better athletes but able to adapt to varying weather conditions & indeed their own personal welfare that makes a big difference.

I think it shows with the level of performances at Wigan this year with what I think isn't an extraordinary squad
