I simply can't see Salford's players being worth enough in transfer fees to even keep going this season. They've already had their TV money and hammerings due to fielding a weak (and likely disinterested) team won't get the turnstiles clicking either. I can see them just folding with results null and void (ala Toronto)
Embarrassing for the game as this could have been avoided back in October by simply demoting them to the Championship, players contracts would have been null and void and they would be doing like London are doing rebuilding on a low budget. The whole idea of 'franchises' is the game can pick and choose who's in or out and they haven't done it properly.
Loverugbyleague saying Nene Mcdonald in high demand including being linked with Oldham?? He's far too good for the Championship and have Oldham found a pot of gold on the pennines or something??
Well it's all getting more and more mysterious at Saford by the day. Their poor fans eh??? Who will be next to leave? This has been going on for months so if anyone wants a catch up or a succinct appraisal of what has happened as week after week Salford appear to have pulled the wool over the eyes of the rest of the game, here is a great catch all catch up from Sky sports.
ps Now Tim Lafai heading back to Australia today!!

UllFC: One thing is certain we are so so lucky to have found our new owners. You can tell Thirkhill lives and breathes RL.
Just imagine the stress levels if we had a mystery new swiss banker as owner and players not being paid after the horrors of last season!
absolutely agree we are so lucky to have escaped a similar fate and the turmoil at the top of the rl continues with more resignations. I doubt Tony Sutton can survive much longer then DM will have his way and Wood him and Hetherington will take over. I'm not sure that's a receipt for stability!! What a mess
