The word to describe our performance so far is pedestrian.

Another half of awful attacking play. We've had so much opportunity and we've not looked remotely like scoring. The only time we've looked threatening was a 7 tackle set.

I now realise why we have so many halves where we fail to score. We have had plenty of time to rectify this, so either (which I believe) the team is playing the best they can but are just not good enough or our coach is completely out of his depth.

I see our CEO made an appearance on Sky in which he basically admitted our end of season destiny. It’s sad that our once great club is once again an on field joke. He has had chances to grasp the opportunities those successful seasons presented but chose just to allow us to wither until we are what we are now.

I did notice Proctor managed a good 10 minutes before he was gasping for air, maybe the vaping is not helping him.

Observations…



Dagger - sound defensively but non-existent in offering attacking options

Lineham- he and Gaskell were at fault for the try but otherwise doing ok

Smith- where is the talented player we were promised

Lino- just to much to do

Forwards - no bite… no spark… no structure… no will to win.. all a bit healed hearted

God we’re awful to watch.

You can Knock Dagger all you like but we’d be a further 3 scores down if not for him putting it on the line and making last ditch tackles

Awful defence, Dagger will be fuming with Taufua and Smith after making a great tackle. Game over. Despite the rhetoric pre-match, there is no way we are anything than relegation bound.

I feel sorry for the very few trying, we have been the better side here tonight for a good proportion of the game only to be let down by a few gutless performers.



Dagger deserves some respect from some for this game alone, could’ve been a lot worse if it wasn’t for him… shame some of his team mates can’t match him for effort.
