| Flanagan did little whilst he was on last week. I dont see that it should have to be between Coley and Mossop.
Flanagan out, Mossop in.
Coley will be looking for a big game to rub out last week and people who have said rest Fielden are very wrong IMO.

When Riddell needs to go off i would move Locky into the halves with Sam and push Flannagan to 13 and move Tommy into the 9 position. Seems like alot of changing around to do BUT IMO is the best option for this game. I think Leeds quick play the ball was what got the better of KR last week and i think with tommys darting runs and good brain would take us forward in the middle parts of the match when needed.

I agree with you, we should start the same as Sunday, I think Coley will be up for it and make up for Sunday. I would have Mossop instead of Flannagan though just for his size and the fact that he can give us a little punch. For me it would be a straight shoot out between Joel & Flash. But knowing Noble he will keep the same Xvii unless injuries force his hand.

Don't like all that shifting. It worked miserably at Huddersfield recently and Locky does not play well as a 6.

Agreed, Flanagan has been getting bounced off the tackles the last few weeks his work rate since he got in the first team has been superb, but i think it has caught up on him a little.
Pryce and Flanagan to miss out for me.

I think thats harsh on Coley. 1 bad game and people want him dropped. People are forgetting his performances when it mattered against Leeds Saints, and he was awesome against Wire in the semi. Fielden plays rubbish for weeks and doesnt get dropped and yet you want our most consistent prop dropped immediately. No offence mate but look at the bigger picture. If Nobby drops him to the bench then fair call but to drop him completely would be stupid.

We'd have been well and truely screwed without Coley this season. He should be one of the first names on the sheet and probably is.
A couple of half decent games from Fielden and Feka and it's easy for people to forget how Coley and Prescott have held that front row together for months whilst those 2 were half ar*ing around and played a huge part in us losing that challenge cup semi.

couldnt agree more mate. Fekas perfomance in the semi was nothing short of woeful and embarrassing. Yet the "lets shoot coley" band wagon begins after last sunday. 3 ball errors and 1 high tackle. ok a shocker for Coley but it would have been worse if wigan had lost. I bet know one is more disappointed than Coley about last sunday. His defense was still good regardless. Prescott and Coley have done a good solid job this year .

Good spot but Murrell's back this week and he has a knack of spotting the quick runner and blocking.

| I was in London last week with my son, watching the game on Sky. He asked me what was Phelps like. I said that he was great going forward but couldn't catch a high ball and his defence was suspect. The rest is history. I worry he will be bombarded at Hull K R.

The high ball bit i'll take but his defence is pretty good imo.
I've not seen many go round him(Huby may have been one of the first) when they've broke our first line of defence.
He'll get better under the high ball as he gains more experience in the position aswell.

No chance, watch him when someone breaks, he falls over every time. I don't believe anyone loses their footing that often.

| Everyone goes around him so it's left to Carmont/Roberts/Richards to make the try saving tackles (as we have seen most of the year).
Still 1000000000000000x better than Mathers though.

| I think everyone agrees that Pryce is a non starter, but for me the choice for the other is between Mossop and Flanagan as I don't think either has enough at this stage in their career to challenge the present incumbents.
A difficult choice. I think Flanagan is potentially the more dangerous going forward and also really gets stuck in defensively. However, I believe he is better out wide and tends to get overpowered in the middle of the park; but in this case I think we will need to really stand up to the Hull KR pack and as we have Sam, Carmont and Gleeson out wide I'd go with Mossop this time, just for his presence rather than ability.
A bit of a negative reason I know, but it's no use having dangerous backs if the forwards are overpowered and I believe that Flanagan's physique is more suited to the backs rather than a forward.

| as with most other people on this board I believe it is down to Mosssop and Flanagan. I think flannagan defense is better but think we will benifit more from Mossop size in the of the park ala Leeds. We all went into the big one thinking that leeds pack would dominate and it ended up with us winning and winning up the middle as well. I think this is what it will take on saturday night winning up themiddle and letting the backs make the yards. A slight change I would make is swap Riddell and Mcloram from last week and start with Riddell as I thin Mcl is more impact hooker role
