Still can't get my head around the signing to be honest. I get it was risk free not counting on the cap but it was obvious that he would struggle with other parts of the game than simply running with the ball. It's not like he has age on his side either to be a project signing.
I didn't see your game against Hudds but he was in no mans land for their first try and just not synced with the rest of the defence.
Remember Dwain Chambers signing for Castleford? That was an abject failure too.
You can't compare Chambers and Wade.
Wade looked decent with the ball in hand. He tried some different things to what you normally see.
What I will say however is that, unsurprisingly, Kendall had it out for him. The incorrect play the ball was technically the right decision. It's just the next 3 Hudds PTB all weren't done by the letter or the law either. An extra hand on in the tackle - right decision, just picked and chose when he wanted to see it.
Do you think he will play against Hull?
Depends on who's available. I'd certainly take him over Douglas who, imo, was just his usual unspectacular self. I was out of my chair, or at least on the end of my seat when Wade found some ball in space. You felt he could do something. Can't say I've ever thought that about Douglas.
