The 2015 Kingstone Press Championship Summer Bash fixtures - Details of fixtures and ticket availability for the Summer Bash will be announced in mid-November.



The games played were, where possible, 'local derby' matches in an attempt to maximise interest in the event. The "non-heartland" sides are paired against each other.



Below are the proposed games.



Bloomfield Road Blackpool May 23 &24 2015



Bradford Bulls v Halifax

Dewsbury Rams v Batley Bulldogs

Sheffield Eagles v Doncaster

Workington v Whitehaven

Featherstone Rovers v Leigh Centurions

London Broncos v North Wales Crusaders

That's a bit harsh RO. Frank and I have done our time and are now deservedly retired. (mind you, I'm only 35 although Frank is a tad older, at 36!

Is it tomorrow we find out the fixtures? I think we'll end up with London, both being full time teams with no local Darby’s. I predict.

Whitehaven V Workington (Cumbrian Darby)

Doncaster V Sheffield (South Yorkshire Darby)

Halifax V Dewsbury

Batley V Hunslet

(Would like a Heavy Woollen Darby but think Batley V Hunslet would make a better game than Halifax V Hunselt)

Not so sure.



I read the other day that the Leeds chairman had offered Huns 25 players on DC.

Apparently the fixtures are going to be announced on Thurs.
