Hi everyone,

Anyone know a decent place where I can park for the game today? I'm not bothered whether I need to pay but I'd like to be pretty close to the ground.

No point even trying the stadium car park as I can only get there for half one.

If you don't fancy parking around the stadium, Pennington Flash car park is just minutes walking distance from the ground.

Hope you parked okay , we arrived in leigh at ten past 1 this afternoon , queued up for half an hour to be told the main car park was shut (as we expected by the way ) the steward then told us that we would get a space at pennington flash (as mentioned above) where we queued up for another 20 mins or so to recieve the message from a steward " the car park is ram packed, you can wait half an hour for a space if you want, you will have to try the local streets" by the time we found a space and walked from lowton high school it was 5 minutes till kick off ... is this one of the reasons why they dont get considered for super league ? was shocking . many people had the same problem as we did as they turned up 20 mins or so late..

It was always obvious this type of problem would occur. It's bad enough sometimes with the small crowds that Leigh get.

Bad design in the first place. Should have been designated parking in town centre with shuttle buses. Need more than one entrance to LSV.

use public transport, its rather harsh having a go at lsv, how much parking do you want ffs

How's the parking around the HJ?

Its no better at Warrington or Wigan in my experience.

I knew where to park to get in and out quick as I'm local but like anywhere else it's pot luck. 10,000 plus crowds are going to be a rarity at LSV. The car park near Sainsbury's was the best option I'd have thought if you couldn't get on LSV car parks.

'bad parking' now a reason to refuse a SL licence? Bye Bye 2/3rd's of current SL teams then.

Well there will be plenty of space at the new Salford stadium I imagine lol!
