I can heartily recommend a few pints in the Garden Gate www.gardengateleeds.co.uk/ I think officially Leeds most beautiful pub. It's stunning place & hosts Hunslet RL's heritage centre. It's part of the Leeds Brewery chain so some cracking ales.

Being a repulsive Leodensian myself, I go quite often for a quiet game of dominoes with the missus and kids. That reads like one of my more obscure cryptic jokes but is actually true. A great pub and we are lucky it's somehow survived when every building around it of any age has been demolished.
