I'm just posting to ask if anyone knows when the scholarship fixtures are out. It's going to be a funny season with the north west counties switching to summer so I guess there will be clashes between scholarship and amateur club matches. I guess that could cause some issues for clubs with a significant number of scholars such as Brook at 15's.

From what we can gather, scholarship matches are going to be played every three weeks, with no NWC matches being played that weekend. If they were, the likes of Brook 15s and Bold MIners 16s wouldn't be able to fulfil the fixture. We've been told that the fixtures should become available at the end of Jan, but we've not had them yet.

I've also heard that there will be NWC match free weekends to allow for scholarship games too. But, I've also heard the opposite where scholarship lads would need to fit in NWC matches in midweek. There's a good few league and cup games to fit into this summer season so I think the real situation could be a bit of both.

It'll be interesting to see how the new crop of saints U15's fair this year. If club form is anything to go by saints should dominate the north west teams at 15's.
