I normally pay cash on the gate, but had to buy a ticket for Friday. Anyone any idea why they decided to rip the tickets in half after they had took the stub?



Would have been a nice ticket to keep as it was the last GF derby.

Something to do with forgeries the chap on the turnstile said to me when I asked, 2,000 of them apparently. Although I dont exactly know how ripping the ticket in half would prove it isn't a forgery????

I thought it may be to prevent people trying to sell them on ebay. Everyone I spoke to had theirs ripped or taken off them.



I would have liked to have kept mine with the programme.

When they move they mite have the barcode readers like at leeds

They ripped mine, but asked my lad beforew ripping his, if he kept them. He gave the fella a look that somehow conveyed the word 'anorak' without actually saying anything.

they didnt rip mine instead the uy wrote used on the ticket..they asked me do i want to keep it and thouht why not might aswell

i assumed it was so you couldnt try and pass it back to the person behind in the queue or something to that effect. although at first i thought he was just being a n0b because i was a wigan fan

to stop all you commoners passing it back through the gate to your mates to re-use?



FWIW i tried using the wrong season ticket voucher somehow, and they stopped me from doing that.

Due to experience I did it myself and handed over the stub, had some arguments in the past with C.C. and

play off tickets as i am a geek and like to keep my tickets for eveything i attend
